Compliance with the EUDR Regulation

Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, known as the EUDR, introduces new measures designed to ensure that products placed on the European market do not contribute to deforestation or forest degradation.
In this context, L.E.G.O. fully supports the objectives of the Regulation and integrates its principles into the company’s environmental policies and responsible sourcing practices.

EUDR Regulation implementation status

On 23 December 2025, Regulation (EU) 2025/2650 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) with the aim of making the application of the regulatory framework on deforestation associated with market supply chains more gradual and proportionate.

In addition to postponing until 30 December 2026 the deadline by which medium and large-sized operators and traders must comply with the rules on due diligence and declarations, the most significant development was the removal, in Annex I, of the row «ex 49 Printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products of the printing industry; manuscripts, typescripts and plans, of paper». In other words, the EUDR no longer applies to printed products.

We would nevertheless like to emphasise that, to ensure transparent and environmentally friendly procurement, all raw materials of forest origin purchased by L.E.G.O. come from qualified European producers, selected to guarantee the highest standards of quality, control, and compliance with current regulations.

L.E.G.O. remains at your full disposal for any further clarification regarding compliance with the EUDR Regulation and our sustainability practices.
